1. What is this document about?

This Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Kinokrad processes your personal data and uses cookies when you interact with the website kinokrad.fans (the “Site”). We aim to be transparent and to protect your information.

The Policy is prepared in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data” and other applicable laws of the Russian Federation, as well as common international data-protection practices.

Using the Site means you accept this Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Site.

We may update the Policy from time to time without individual notice; the effective date is always shown under the page title. We recommend that you review this page periodically for changes.

2. What are personal data and processing?

Personal data means any information that relates directly or indirectly to you as a natural person and Kinokrad user. Where applicable law defines this concept more narrowly or broadly for certain categories (for example technical device data), we still take a broad approach to what should be treated as personal data.

Processing means any operation performed on personal data, including collection, recording, storage, alteration, use, disclosure (including transfer to third parties), blocking, erasure or destruction.

Specific processing operations are communicated to you before processing begins, through legal documents (offers, terms of use, etc.) or the user interface.

We may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Device and browser information;
  • History of interactions with the Site;
  • Other data you voluntarily provide (e.g. in forms, comments or reviews).

3. Legal bases and purposes

Kinokrad acts as the controller that determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

We may disclose personal data outside Kinokrad when:

  • It is necessary to perform agreements with you, including the Site terms;
  • Law requires disclosure (e.g. tax authorities or court orders);
  • You have consented;
  • Another legal basis applies under applicable law.

Recipients may include payment processors (where payments are available), public authorities within their competence, and others who process data under their own legal grounds, not as processors for us.

We may engage processors (e.g. hosting providers) under contracts that require them to protect your data when acting on our behalf.

We may share data with advertising partners to personalize ads, measure campaigns and improve the experience.

Cross-border transfers from Russia will comply with Article 12(4) of Federal Law 152-FZ, including transfers to countries without adequate protection where permitted with appropriate safeguards and, where required, your consent.

6. Where we get your data

We mainly receive personal data directly from you. You choose what to share; you are not required to provide data except where the law or core Site functionality requires it.

If you provide data, you warrant that it is accurate and up to date. If you provide someone else’s data, you warrant that you have their consent for transfer to Kinokrad and for processing.

Where the interface or legal documents allow, we may receive data from third parties; you can usually opt out and enter data yourself instead.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Changes are published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
